U.S. Navy to cut ribbon on 2.2M square foot defense industrial facility in Muscle Shoals

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – The U.S. Navy will soon hold a ribbon-cutting for a 2.2 million square foot defense industrial facility in Muscle Shoals, U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville and Rep. Robert Aderholt announced on Monday.

Tuberville first announced the news while providing an update from Washington at the Von Braun Center.

Aderholt’s office said the Barton Railcar Plant will be the home of the facility.
