GE Aerospace investing $55M at Huntsville site

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – GE Aerospace announced on Monday that it will invest $1 billion in its U.S. manufacturing facilities this year, including $55 million at its site in Huntsville.

According to GE Aerospace, the Huntsville site is set to see “new and upgraded production equipment and building improvements,” with the goal of increasing capacity and maintaining strong quality as demand grows.

“Pushing the boundaries of aerospace is what Huntsville does, and the materials we make here are giving our customers capabilities that once seemed out of reach.  We are all in on U.S. manufacturing, Huntsville, and our customers,” said Stephen French, Site Leader for GE Aerospace Huntsville…
