‘A millisecond can change your life’: Decatur community pushes for safety fixes after 10-year-old killed at busy Beltline intersection

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) – Community members and Decatur city leaders called for safety upgrades at a busy intersection after a crash killed 10-year-old CJ Bone near Highway 67 and 8th Street Southwest.

People who live and drive there told WAFF 48 that the intersection of 8th Street Southwest and Beltline Road/Alabama 67 is dangerous, and that changes are long overdue.
