A significant piece of land on Green Mountain is now under permanent protection, thanks to a dedicated community effort.
The Land Trust of North Alabama announced the successful purchase of 65 acres after the community raised $300,000 in just two months. This entire amount went directly toward safeguarding the land from future development.
