Huntsville attorney, AG Marshall react to Gov. Ivey reducing sentence of death row inmate

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A local defense attorney and others throughout the state weigh in on the big decision to spare a death row inmate’s life.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey has commuted the death sentence of Charles “Sonny” Burton, a man who had been on death row for 35 years and was two days away from execution.
