Huntsville, Alabama – Residents across the Tennessee Valley could see severe thunderstorms develop quickly this afternoon as a line of storms capable of 60 mph wind gusts, large hail, and isolated tornadoes pushes into northern Alabama.
According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, the greatest threat window for severe storms will occur between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. around Huntsville, as a broken line of thunderstorms moves east across the region. Some storms may produce hail near or above 1 inch in diameter along with damaging winds strong enough to down tree limbs or cause scattered power outages…
