MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A 7th-grade student was arrested after trying to bring a gun into Buckhorn Middle School on Thursday.
Madison County School officials told News 19 that the firearm was immediately flagged by the school’s OpenGate weapons detection system, prompting an immediate response from school personnel and the on-site School Resource Officer.
