HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A child is recovering after accidentally shooting themselves in a Boys and Girls Club parking lot in Huntsville on Thursday.
A spokesperson from the Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama said on Thursday, a firearm that belonged to a parent of a Club member was accessed by her young child in her vehicle. The child accidentally discharged the firearm in the parking lot on Pulaski Pike.
The child sustained a non-life-threatening injury and received prompt medical attention. The Huntsville Police Department responded to the scene and has taken the lead on the investigation…
