A winter weather advisory has even been issued for part of north Alabama and will be in effect until 7 p.m.
It includes Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb and Cullman counties, and residents of several of these areas have already taken to social media to share their snowy snaps.
