HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Just hours after severe storms cleared the region, a wet, heavy snow fell across the Tennessee Valley, accompanying a nosedive in temperature from the 70s to the 30s.
The snow came down thick in Huntsville and surrounding communities, sticking to cars, roadways, and other exposed surfaces. Visibility was an issue mid-morning on I-565.
