HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A months-long investigation into a large-scale drug trafficking operation ended with four individuals arrested, according to authorities.
Agents with the North Alabama Drug Task Force, assisted by the DEA and the Region F Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force uncovered the manufacturing and distribution of fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills and other illegal narcotics.
HPD said that authorities served search warrants in the 1500 block of Wall Road in Brownsboro and the 100 block of Callie Circle in Huntsville, which resulted in the seizure of the following items:
- 1.3lbs of opiates
- 24lbs of Etizolam
- 5.8lbs of marijuana
- 32lbs of THC vape products
- Pill press used to manufacture counterfeit pills
- $255,575
- 25 firearms
As a result, the following individuals were arrested during the initial operation:
