ARDMORE, Ala. — Ardmore Public Library will reopen Thursday after a brief closure caused by a bed bug sighting.
Library staff discovered the insects on a chair in the Historical Room on Monday, March 16, and had the area inspected the following day. Officials say the problem was limited to that single chair, and pest control successfully treated the area. A follow-up inspection confirmed the library is safe to reopen.
