MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A construction company owner has been arrested and charged with theft in Marshall County.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, Jaron Reed, of Arab, was indicted earlier this month after posing as a licensed building contractor and owning a company called “Reed Construction.”
Authorities said that Reed duped two business partners out of approximately $240,000 beginning in January 2025.
