HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in Trinity on Saturday, saying a 6-year-old accidentally shot his 13-year-old brother in the shoulder.
A law enforcement official told News 19 that Rep. Ernie Yarbrough is the father of the children involved.

The sheriff’s office detailed that the 6-year-old retrieved the gun from a bedroom in the home. It said it is still investigating and that charges are a possibility.
“If you’ve got a loaded gun and you’ve got children in the house, you got to worry about a civil lawsuit if someone gets hurt and you got to worry about possible criminal prosecution,” Huntsville Attorney Mark McDaniel said…
