LIMESTONE CO., Ala. (WAFF) – Two people from Elkmont have been arrested after authorities say a non-verbal child was abused and neglected.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said its Criminal Investigations Division began looking into the case in February after receiving concerns about the child’s well-being. The Limestone County Department of Human Resources took custody of the child.
