‘We’re prepared for that growth’: Limestone County to expand largest high school

LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — At a community board meeting Tuesday night, Limestone County Schools announced its largest school system is getting even bigger.

“No doubt East Limestone is the largest high school in the district, the largest school overall; it has over 1200 students,” Superintendent Randy Shearouse said. “It did grow some this year, and so we want to make sure we’re prepared for that growth.”
