HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Families, friends, and survivors of gun violence gathered at the Frank J. Williams Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama Saturday morning for the Voices of Change forum, coming together to raise awareness about what they call a growing need for reform.
Dozens of people who have been personally affected by gun violence attended the event, sharing stories of heartbreak and calling for action. Many there said the impact of losing someone to a bullet doesn’t just end at the grave.
