Huntsville City Council approves agreement to help police recruitment

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville City Council approved a contract to improve its recruitment of police officers at Thursday’s meeting.

The agenda listed a proposed contract between the City of Huntsville and Crimson Recruiting Services, LLC, which is based in Mobile. It would cost the city $122,720. The council approved the contract during the meeting on Thursday.

The contract details that CRS “should strive to place 35 highly qualified applicants” in the Huntsville Training Police Academy, with the goal of at least 87.5% of those applicants graduating.
