LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. (WAFF) – Lincoln County, Tennessee, deputies are investigating the death of a man who, authorities say, admitted to ingesting an illegal narcotic during a traffic stop.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Tuesday involving three occupants.
During the stop, one passenger, 31-year-old Jeffery Dawayne Roberts, told deputies he had taken an illegal drug. Roberts was taken to the hospital, where he later died…
