ATHENS, Ala. — A community in Athens that has been asking for infrastructure upgrades for years says its concerns remain unresolved, as flooding issues persist and a long-promised project has gone unnoticed.
Residents along Strain Road say they have dealt with consistent flooding for decades, with little relief despite plans from the city to address the problem.
