HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A witness stopped a driver who fled the scene of a crash involving a mother and her children Monday morning at Highway 53 and Research Park Boulevard.
After the wreck, a witness told WAFF 48 he stopped to check on a mother and her children in one car when the driver of the other car took off running.
He said his instincts kicked in, and he sprinted after the man and eventually caught up to him. He said he held him on the ground for a couple minutes until police arrived…
