After largely disappearing from the official agenda last year, the Pentagon’s “Golden Dome for America” missile defense initiative is expected to be front and center at this year’s Space and Missile Defense Symposium in Huntsville.
The 2026 Space and Missile Defense Symposium, scheduled for Aug. 11–13 at the Von Braun Center, will feature senior leaders directly tied to the program, including General Michael Guetlein, who serves as the Defense Department’s direct reporting program manager for Golden Dome.
