HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — With gas prices soaring, one Huntsville church says it’s doing something to help.
Progressive Union Missionary Baptist Church has announced plans for a “Gas on God” event on May 16.
Neighbor pushes for access to more storm shelters
The church says it will offer free gas to those who need it on May 16, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Walmart Neighborhood Market at the corner of Jordan Lane and Bob Wallace Ave, and beginning at 11 a.m. at the Kroger on Oakwood Ave.
In a post on social media, the church said the gas will be available with no catch, “just love.”…
