MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Alabama Department of Transportation says Interstate 65 in Morgan and Limestone Counties will be getting a facelift beginning this weekend.
ALDOT says it plans to kick off the next phase of its $16.5 million resurfacing project for the highway beginning on Sunday, May 10, weather permitting.

The agency said the plan is to resurface from just south of SR-36 in Hartselle, all the way to just south of the I-565 interchange in Limestone County. Officials said the contractor will patch pavement before the start of milling and resurfacing.
