Portion of Nance Road closing Wednesday for drainage work in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ala. — A portion of Nance Road in western Madison County will shut down Wednesday as crews work to replace a cross drain beneath the roadway, forcing drivers to detour during the day-long project.

Madison County District Four crews are scheduled to begin work at 8:30 a.m. at 561 Nance Road. The road will be closed to through traffic between Capshaw Road and McCrary Road while repairs are underway.
