LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. — A New Hope man is in police custody after making a terroristic threat against the Limestone County Courthouse on Monday.
According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the courthouse after a terrorist threat was called in to the circuit clerk’s office. The caller claimed there was a bomb inside the courthouse.
As a precaution, the courthouse was immediately evacuated. Bomb technicians from the Huntsville Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Explosives assisted in conducting a thorough search of the building. No explosive devices were located…
