The Land Trust of North Alabama, the City of Huntsville and the Alabama Trails Foundation are partnering to spotlight one of the city’s most popular hiking destinations as part of a statewide outdoor recreation initiative.
The groups are celebrating the Year of Alabama Trails at Blevins Gap Nature Preserve, featuring the Bill and Marion Certain Trail, a 1.97-mile route known for its scenic ridge overlooks and panoramic views. The trail climbs steadily for roughly a half mile before leveling out along a ridge with overlooks on both sides.
