Resurfacing begins on SR-67 in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. — Resurfacing work has begun this week on a stretch of State Route 67 south of State Route 36, according to transportation officials.

The $1 million project, led by Grayson Carter and Son Contracting, will resurface 4.4 miles of the two-lane highway from south of Pines Road in the Florette community to State Route 36 south of Somerville.
