Teen dead after shooting in city’s northwest side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Neighbors are still processing a deadly shooting on Indianapolis’ northwest side after a 16-year-old was found dead Sunday evening at an apartment complex near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Police say officers responded around 7:45 p.m. on Race Day to the 5700 block of Renn Lane at Colonial Square Apartments. More than 30 police cars responded to the scene as investigators worked through the night.
Authorities say the shooting remains under investigation. No suspects have been identified, and no arrests had been made as of Monday…
