Because CareSource announced on May 15 that it is exiting Indiana’s ACA marketplace entirely — and you will need a new plan before January 1.
You are not alone. Approximately 60,000 Hoosiers are in the same position. And CareSource is not the only carrier leaving. Cigna — which also offers individual and family marketplace plans in Indiana — announced it is withdrawing from all individual health insurance markets nationwide at the end of 2026.
