INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis man was sentenced Tuesday following his conviction for a 2025 robbery of a Geist hardware store.
Jeffrey Dewitt Upshaw, 41, was sentenced to serve 19 years in prison after being convicted by a jury in April of felony robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. Following the trial, Upshaw was given an habitual offender enhancement, which is what led to the near-two decade prison sentence.
