‘Holy Trinity’: Doctor accused of prescribing deadly drug combo that led to 22 patient deaths in Noblesville, Indianapolis

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A doctor who has treated patients in Noblesville and Indianapolis is accused of prescribing a fatal combination of drugs that resulted in 22 patients under his care allegedly dying.

According to documents obtained by FOX59/CBS4, the family of one of the alleged victims has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Dr. Napoleon Maminta. The family of one of the alleged victims filed the complaint in Marion County Superior Court on Jan. 19, 2023, stating that Williams was a patient of Maminta’s between December 2019 and March 2022.

Wrongful death lawsuit

The complaint stated that Maminta operated out of an office in Noblesville in the 900 block of N. 10th Street and was not listed as a Qualified Healthcare Provider on the Indiana Patients’ Compensation Fund.

The complaint alleged that Maminta prescribed “large quantities” of benzodiazepines, opioids, antidepressants, and suboxone “in dangerous combinations resulting in the decedent’s addiction to said medications and in her overdose death on or about March 28, 2022.”…
