INDIANAPOLIS — A 19-year-old man has been accused of causing $250,000-worth of damage to an Indianapolis business’ air conditioning units.
According to an affidavit for probable cause filed Friday, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to Shopper’s World — which is located within a strip mall in the 3700 block of South East Street — on July 6 to take a theft report. When police arrived at the scene, they spoke with the owner of Shopper’s World.
The store’s owner indicated that materials had been stripped out of six of his building’s air conditioning units. Per court records, a vendor who examined the AC units at Shopper’s World concluded that they had sustained approximately $250,000-worth of damage…
