HOBART, Ind. (WGN) – FEMA is on the ground in Northwest Indiana helping uninsured or underinsured storm victims.
This comes after President Donald Trump approved federal disaster assistance for the area ravaged by severe storms.
No appointments are necessary, but people need to bring a photo ID, proof of address, insurance information if available, and photos of storm damage. It’s also optional to bring bank account information for direct deposits.
