CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An 18-year-old Clay County driver was flown to an Indianapolis Hospital Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle crash on State Road 59.
According to a news release from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened while Mason Taylor, 18, of Clay City, was traveling in the area of State Road 59 and County Road 200 South in Taylor Ridge Township.
Officials said Taylor was traveling southbound on State Road 59 when his vehicle left the roadway, traveled down an embankment, and hit a culvert, causing the vehicle to become airborne before hitting a tree off the roadway…
