An Indiana man’s early Monday morning went from a reported convenience store theft to an encounter with a homeowner before ending in a struggle with deputies and a police K-9. Authorities accused 51-year-old Eric Ryan Nicholson of repeatedly striking K-9 Dexter during the confrontation in Evansville.
According to information shared by DC Dashcamz News & More and attributed to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Department, the series of incidents unfolded along St. Joseph Road. Nicholson is accused of being involved in a theft at the St. Joe Mini Mart before later entering a residence and assaulting a homeowner.
