INDIANAPOLIS – Pavement repairs planned for I-70 in Indianapolis will mean lane and ramp restrictions this week.
Overnight lane restrictions began Tuesday and will continue Wednesday and Thursday. After that, drivers should watch for lengthy weekend restrictions and ramp closures.
Here’s the schedule, as outlined by the Indiana Department of Transportation:
Thursday, Sept. 10, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-70 westbound reduced to one lane between Harding Street and I-465
Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- I-70 westbound reduced to two lanes between Harding St. and I-465
Friday, Sept. 11, at 9 p.m. to Monday, Sept. 14, at 5 a.m.
- I-70 westbound reduced to one lane between Harding St. and I-465
- Ramps from Harding St., Holt Road, and Sam Jones Expressway to I-70 westbound closed
