INDIANAPOLIS — A 39-year-old man has been sentenced to 168 years for a slew of child sex crime and battery charges.
David Fowler of Indianapolis has been charged with the following:
- Four counts of Child Molesting, a level 1 Felony
- Two counts of Battery, a level 6 Felony
- Battery, a class A Misdemeanor
- Intimidation, a level 6 Felony
- Strangulation, a level 6 Felony
- Two counts of Rape, a level 3 Felony
- Two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a level 4 Felony
- Three counts of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, a level 5 Felony
- Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, a class A Misdemeanor
According to court documents, Fowler reportedly molested the victim for over two decades, starting when the victim was around 3 years old.
On Jan. 13, Fowler was taken into police custody after someone witnessed him raping the victim, to which he responded by throwing the victim off of him and attempting to defend his actions…
