INDIANAPOLIS — A local church that has been in the Indianapolis community for decades is taking a big step forward into its future.
On Friday, the congregation at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church celebrated as construction workers lifted the 50,000-pound dome on top of the structure, located at the corner of 79th Street and Marsh Road on the northwest side.
