Police are used to criminals trying to hide objects, like firearms and drugs, from them before they get arrested. But even cops in Florida were surprised to find what one convicted felon had taped to his underwear during their search. But given the man was a fugitive who already had warrants out for his arrest in two states, he likely thought he needed to prepare as much as possible.
Fugitive caught on video kicking a weapon underneath a vehicle
On October 1 at around 7:24 p.m., deputies in Florida arrested 42-year-old Jonathan Terry who had several active warrants out of his arrest from Kentucky and Indiana, according to a post by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office on its official Facebook page.
Footage taken from aerial drones and bodycam video shows Terry attempting to escape the cops. The sheriff’s office says that deputies and its Aviation Unit had begun tracking the suspect at 6:37 p.m., responding to the 15000 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Dover.
