INDIANAPOLIS — Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating after a man was pronounced dead on the near north side of Indianapolis.
The man was reportedly found with trauma outside a building on the 3700 block of N Meridian Street. Officers were first called to the scene on a report of an unresponsive person outside the building.

When officers arrived on scene, IMPD officials stated that a man was located “with injuries consistent with a trauma wound(s).” The man was pronounced dead on scene.
Officials said that the man reportedly had some trauma to his body, but detectives do not believe it was gunshot wounds.
