Kristina Boffing Sell, 53, was charged Monday with four counts of arson and one count of animal cruelty

Police arrested an Indiana woman for torching her estranged husband’s childhood home, resulting in the death of their 10 dogs, including seven puppies, according to reports.

Kristina Boffing Sell, 53, was charged Monday with four counts of arson and one count of animal cruelty for allegedly starting several blazes last September. She was ordered held on $8,000 cash bond during a court appearance on Thursday, according to the Greenfield Daily Record .

Tony Sell, her husband of six years, recalled getting a call in September about the house in flames and arriving at their home in Greenfield to see the destruction.

“I didn’t believe it, and I drove over there and found out. She had, indeed, burnt the house down,” Tony Sell told WTHR.

He said they were in the process of getting a divorce when she allegedly set the house on fire.

“She was very abusive, both mentally and physically. In all the years that I lived there, as a child and as an adult, the cops had never been there before, and then, it became the norm while I was married to her,” the husband told the station.
