110 workers laid off at Kenco warehouse on Indy’s near west side

INDIANAPOLIS — Kenco Logistics Services announced a fresh round of layoffs is coming to one of its facilities located on Indy’s near west side in a move that will cause over 100 people to lose their jobs.

The company, which specializes in offering third-party logistics services, confirmed that its plant, which is located at 202 S. Belmont Avenue, will be closing for good.

A total of 110 employees will affected by the upcoming closure, according to a WARN notice that was posted on the Indiana Department of Workforce Development . All associates have been informed of the upcoming closure, which will not go into effect until March 19.

The notice was filed last week on Jan. 19.
