Indianapolis customs officers seize fake puzzle containing $150K in ketamine

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis U.S. Customs and Border Protection halted a shipment containing more than 20 lbs of ketamine that had arrived at the airport from Europe.

In a post on X , formerly known as Twitter, CBP Chicago confirmed that on Jan. 31, Indy customs authorities intercepted and seized a shipment containing 22 lbs of ketamine that was recently shipped from the Netherlands.

While the shipment arrived in the form of a large puzzle, Indianapolis CBP found that it actually contained $150 thousand worth of ketamine.

Ketamine is described as an anesthetic that can be injected in humans and animals to produce “dissociative sensations, hallucinations, and facilitate sexual assault,” according to Chicago CBP.
