Original : A Semi-truck crash has caused the ramp between U.S. 40 and Interstate 70 to be shut down as crews work to clear the scene.
That’s according to Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames , who confirmed that a wreck had occurred on I-70 westbound where the ramp from U.S. 40 joins the interstate near the 1 mile marker.
Sgt. Ames said that the semi-tractor trailer was the only vehicle involved in the incident.
“The driver advised that he reached down to grab a water bottle, then lost control of the vehicle,” Ames said.
