INDIANAPOLIS — Firefighters helped retrieve an IndyGo employee who was found stuck underneath a bus on Indy’s east side Monday afternoon.
Firefighters with the Indianapolis Fire Department were dispatched shortly after 2 p.m. to 10th Street and Arlington Avenue to conduct a “lift assist” and help recover the employee.

IFD said the IndyGo employee got “wedged in” while checking on something underneath the bus. The worker was not injured during the incident, according to IFD.
The firefighters stabilized the bus and were able to safely remove the man around 15 minutes after arriving at the scene.
