INDIANAPOLIS — One person is in critical condition after being shot in Fountain Square on Sunday afternoon.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to Virginia Avenue and Shelby Street on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived they located a victim with gunshot injuries.
The victim was reported to be in critical condition.
WRTV IMPD said a person of interest has been detained.
