INDIANAPOLIS – IMPD on Friday announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a deadly August shooting on Indianapolis’ northeast side. The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29 in the 3400 block of North Leland Avenue, near East 34th Street and Emerson Avenue. Responding officers found a truck parked in the street with bullet holes in the driver’s side and the driver’s side window shot out.
