More Big Lots stores closing. Which Indiana locations will be shut down?

Another batch of Big Lots stores in Indiana has been slated for closure.

The company is closing locations in Indianapolis, Crawfordsville, Evansville and Noblesville.

In July, Big Lots marked two Indiana stores for closure as part of its plan to shut down as many as 40 stores nationwide, Later, three more sites were listed as closing on the discount retailer’s website.

According to a filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission , the retailer plans to close 35-40 stores this year and open three.

Will Big Lots stores in Indiana close?

Yes. Initially, two stores were marked as closing on the company’s website :

  • 2136 E. Markland Ave. in Kokomo
  • 8401 Michigan Road in Indianapolis

As of Aug. 5, three additional stores were listed as closing:

  • 138 W. Hively Ave., Elkhart
  • 3958 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne
  • 1806 Frontage Road, Warsaw

Since August, four more Indiana stores have been marked as closing on the company’s website :

  • 1424 Darlington Ave., Crawfordsville
  • 410 E. Diamond Ave., Evansville
  • 6225 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis
  • 1930 E. Connor St., Noblesville
