Indiana man arrested for child exploitation; planned to travel to Texas to meet child

BRAZIL, Ind. — An Indiana man could face up to 19 counts of child exploitation after a cybertip led to his arrest last month.

The Fishers Police Department said Kenneth L. Foxx of Brazil was arrested on Sept. 23 on 19 preliminary counts of child exploitation, a Level 4 felony.

Charges have not yet been officially filed in the case and must be filed by the Vigo County Prosecutor’s Office.

According to Fishers police, the Hamilton County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began investigating Foxx after a cypertip. Investigators ended up accessing several social media accounts tied to Foxx which allegedly contained numerous files of child sexual exploitation material.

Police said during the investigation it was also discovered that Foxx was the target of a Texas police investigation due to Foxx allegedly planning to travel to Texas and engage in sex acts with a minor.

Fox is currently being held in Mongomery County Jail in Texas.
